Absolvement Skills Tier List
Shard priorities, hotbar roles, and alpha synergy notes for classless kits.
Absolvement advertises a huge Skill pool and classless synergies—great for theorycrafting, overwhelming for a three-life character. This Skills Tier List helps you spend shards on Roles instead of shiny names during Roblox alpha / early access.
Role tiers beat name tiers
Rank every Skill by the job it does on your hotbar:
| Role | Why it matters | Tier bias |
|---|---|---|
| Safety / peel | Saves a life when parry fails | High for beginners |
| Pull / grouping control | Lets you fight fair numbers | High for solo |
| Burst window | Converts a clean parry into a kill | Mid-high |
| Add clear | Prevents boss wipe to summons | High for bosses |
| Mobility assist | Repositions without burning roll | Situational (great with Nespin) |
| Luxury DoT / flex | Fancy but replaceable | Lower early |
A “low tier” Skill that fills a missing role beats an “S-tier” duplicate that clutters decisions.
Shard economy tips
You start limited and unlock more by collecting/combining shards. Prioritize:
- One reliable safety tool
- One clear damage button you understand
- One situational answer for your target biome or boss
- Only then experimental synergies for Builds
Do not warehouse eight half-understood Skills. Dead hotbar slots cause real deaths.
Synergy with Race, Sin, Potentials, Relics
- Mobility Races like Nespin elevate Skills that cast while repositioning.
- Cruel Sins demand Skills that create space, not greed (Sins).
- Potentials should multiply the tags you actually press.
- Relics that require uptime fight Skills with long self-roots—skip the Relic or the Skill.
Cross-check Race fit on Races and decision questions on the advisors under Tools.
Learning loop for Skill mastery
- Enter a farm run with light Affixes (Dungeon Farming).
- Bind only the Skills you are grading.
- Note whether each Skill created a parry opening (Combat & Parry).
- Promote Skills that save potions; demote Skills that spend lives.
- Spend Soul Fragments to support the winners (Soul Tree).
Boss-specific grading belongs on Bosses. Party grading (up to five) belongs on Party & Co-op—duplicate burst and zero peel is a classic wipe composition.
Alpha caveat
With 100+ abilities in the design fantasy, patch notes can shuffle entire tags. After updates, re-tier your personal top eight and skim Alpha Patch Notes. This page intentionally avoids pretending a frozen global ordering that will rot by next week.
Sibling pages
Return to Getting Started if you are still unlocking the UI, and ignore script “auto skill” promises that risk bans (Scripts Hub). No codes will drop perfect shards today (Codes Hub).
Skills win when they make Absolvement readable. Rank by roles, prune ruthlessly, and let the Soul Tree amplify what you actually cast.
Building a personal top-eight list
Keep a note with eight Skills max:
1–2 safety / peel
2–3 primary damage
1 add-clear specialist
1 mobility / setup
1 flex slot for the day’s biome
Promote a Skill only if it earned a keep after two full farm sessions. Demote anything you forget to press in boss doors (Bosses). When a Potential drops that multiplies a tag you never cast, either change Skills or skip the Potential (Builds).
Shard spending mistakes
- Unlocking everything “just in case”
- Ignoring safety tools because damage clips better
- Copying a five-stack composition while playing solo
- Keeping obsolete Skills after a patch nerf without retesting
After updates, wipe your mental S-tier and reseed from live performance plus Alpha Patch Notes. The Tier List Hub is a compass, not a prison.
Co-op Skill coverage
In parties of up to five, assign roles in chat before the globe: who peels, who bursts, who swears to swap to adds. Duplicate hotbars look unified and die unified (Party & Co-op).
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Absolvement questions.
How many Skills should I keep on my hotbar?
Prefer a small intentional set—safety, damage, and one situational tool—over a cluttered bar of curios.
What Skills are best for beginners?
Anything that creates space or clear openings for parries. Luxury combos can wait until the Soul Tree is deeper.
Do Skill tiers stay permanent?
No. Alpha balance shifts tags and numbers; retest your shortlist after patches.
Should my whole party run the same Skills?
No. Cover peel, add clear, and burst across up to five players instead of stacking identical kits.
