Absolvement Party & Co-op (Up to 5)

Absolvement supports online co-op parties of up to five. That is enough firepower to melt packs—and enough chaos to wipe five characters to one unread AoE. This guide is the social contract for Roblox alpha / early access runs.

Before you form the party

Agree on:

1. Goal — farm, boss, Bloody Masses, or Tree income
2. Affix load — lowest common comfort wins
3. Sin/Race honesty — call out Pseudoprophecy or Harmonite/Calvar experiments
4. Loot rules — need > greed, or assigned Relic priorities
5. Extract authority — who can force a leave
6. Comms — voice preferred for boss telegraphs

Write it in chat. Memory lies mid-dungeon.

Roles that scale to five

Skills should cover roles, not clone burst (Skills, Builds).

Combat co-op habits

• Do not stack in the same frontal cone
• Call when roll (Q) is down
• Drink with V before the lethal hit, not after
• Parry (F) readable hits; do not expect friends to eat your greed
• Review Combat & Parry if the group keeps trading faces

Life economy as a group

Permadeath math multiplies. One player on Pseudoprophecy can force awkward resets. Prefer Theft-friendly starters for learning groups (Sins, Sin Advisor). Race experiments belong on Races after the group can already clear.

When a member is on their last life, the extract lead should pull the plug unless the boss pattern is solved. Bank Fragments on the Soul Tree instead of chasing a highlight clip.

Farming and unlock parties

Blood Citadel Bloody Mass farms for Nespin are perfect five-stack content if Affixes stay honest. Follow Dungeon Farming budgets so the nineteenth Mass does not cost three characters.

Hosting etiquette

• Wait for potion and bind checks (Controls)
• Do not secretly raise Affixes after ready-up
• Kick toxicity faster than you kick low DPS
• After wipes, spend Tree time together so power gaps shrink

What parties are not for

• Carrying a full cruel Affix set for someone who refuses to learn parries
• Running ban-risk scripts as a group (Scripts Hub — ToS risk)
• Expecting promo codes to refund wipes (Codes Hub — none live)

Sample ready-check message

Copy and adapt:

A twenty-second paste prevents a twenty-minute argument after a wipe.

Difficulty scaling honesty

More players can mean more reward and more heat depending on how Absolvement is tuned in a given alpha build. Never assume “five people = free clear.” If clears get messier as you add players, lower Affixes before you add ego. Retest after patches (Alpha Patch Notes).

After-wipe ritual for groups

1. Name the mechanic, not the teammate.
2. Spend Soul Fragments on shared priorities when possible.
3. Decide remake vs retry in under two minutes.
4. Re-run a short farm if potions and focus are gone.

Friendships last longer than characters. Absolvement will supply enough permadeath without the party inventing more.
