Absolvement Builds Guide

Absolvement builds are classless stacks, not rigid kits. You combine Race, Sin, Skills, Potentials, Relics, and Affixes, then let the Soul Tree quietly amplify whatever survived the last wipe. This guide shows how to assemble loadouts that stay alive in Roblox alpha / early access instead of screenshot fantasy DPS sheets.

Build pillars (in priority order)

  1. Survive telegraphs — if you cannot parry, no Relic matters (Combat & Parry).
  2. Sin and Race fit — Theft-friendly starters; avoid Pseudoprophecy; avoid Harmonite / Calvar early.
  3. Skill roles on the hotbar — one gap closer or pull, one burst, one safety tool when possible.
  4. Potentials — passive multipliers that match your Skill tags.
  5. Relics — run-defining spikes that should not fight your Sin downside.
  6. Affixes — difficulty dial after the above is stable.
  7. Soul Tree — permanent foundation beneath the run.

Starter template (alpha-safe)

  • Sin: Theft (or another mild option from Sins)
  • Race: forgiving early pick per Races / Race Advisor
  • Affixes: minimal
  • Weapon: rapier or katana until parries are consistent
  • Skills: prioritize readable cooldowns over cryptic high ceilings
  • Tree: survivability nodes first

Only after this template clears mid dungeons should you chase specialty races like Nespin or heavier Affix stacks.

Skills: shards to synergies

You begin with limited Skills and unlock more by collecting and combining shards. Treat the Skills Tier List as a menu, not a commandment—alpha rankings drift. Ask of every Skill:

  • Does it help me create a parry opening?
  • Does it clear adds before boss focus?
  • Does it spend resources I actually regenerate?
  • Does it stack with my Potentials and Relics?

Hotbar clutter kills decision speed. Four intentional Skills beat eight souvenirs.

Potentials and Relics

Potentials are the quiet multipliers. Relics are the loud ones. A good build makes them point the same direction. If a Relic demands aggressive uptime your Sin cannot afford, skip it—even if it looks rare. Farm replacements with disciplined Dungeon Farming rather than forcing a mismatch into a boss (Bosses).

Affix-aware building

Affixes change the correct build. Mobility Affix pressure may justify Nespin later; damage-taken Affixes demand Tree defenses and safer Sins. Use Sin Advisor checklists before you “just try” a cruel combination.

Party builds (max five)

In co-op, specialize: one stabilizer, one add clear, one burst. Identical glass cannons produce simultaneous downs. Align on Party & Co-op.

Anti-builds

  • Pseudoprophecy + hard Affixes + unfinished Tree
  • Harmonite / Calvar early while still panic-rolling
  • Pure damage Relics with empty potion discipline
  • Copying a streamer loadout without matching Race/Sin
  • Relying on scripts to fake a build’s timing (ToS risk)

Iteration loop

  1. Pick a goal boss or biome.
  2. Lock Sin/Race.
  3. Fill Skills for that goal.
  4. Accept only Relics/Potentials that match.
  5. Run, wipe or clear, spend Fragments.
  6. Change one layer at a time.

Return to Getting Started if foundations were wrong. Use the Guides Hub to jump to the failing layer.

Codes and build power

There is still no code redemption for free Relics or Fragments (Codes Hub). Builds are earned in dungeons and on the Tree.

Sibling guides

A strong Absolvement build is a story your telegraphs can finish. Keep layers aligned, keep Affixes honest, and let the Soul Tree compound patience.

Example starter stacks (alpha-safe)

Stack 1 — Theft duelist: mild Sin, forgiving Race, rapier, safety Skill + short burst Skill, Potentials that reward clean hits, Relics that refund resources after parries. Keep Affixes near zero until mid clears feel automatic.

Stack 2 — Party stabilizer: same mild Sin, Race with sustain lean, Skills that peel or group, Relics that help teammates indirectly (potion value, threat tools). You exist so the burst players get openings—see Party & Co-op.

Stack 3 — Post-Nespin skirmisher: after How to Unlock Nespin, rebuild on a new slot with mobility Skills, accept shorter i-frames, and refuse Affixes that amplify multi-enemy damage until Tree defenses catch up.

Rebuild whenever a Relic fights your Sin, whenever a patch retunes tags (Alpha Patch Notes), or whenever you realize you are pressing Skills you do not understand under pressure.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Absolvement questions.

Does Absolvement have fixed classes?

No. Builds are classless combinations of Race, Sin, Skills, Potentials, Relics, Affixes, and Soul Tree nodes.

What is a good beginner build direction?

Theft-friendly Sin, forgiving Race, light Affixes, fast weapon, survivability Tree nodes, and readable Skills.

When should I rebuild?

After a patch, after a Tree breakpoint, or when Relics consistently fight your Sin downside.

Do scripts make better builds?

No. They risk bans and hide whether your loadout actually works under real telegraphs.
