Absolvement Players Hub
Controls, co-op rules, and habits that keep alpha parties alive.
The Players Hub is where Absolvement stops being lore and starts being button presses and social contracts. In a permadeath Roblox alpha, a wrong binding or a silent party wipe call costs characters. Use these pages before deep Affix delves.
Pages here
- Controls — Parry F, Roll Q, Consumables V, Map M, hotbar discipline, controller notes
- Party & Co-op — parties of up to five, Affix alignment, loot rules, extract authority
Why this hub exists
Guides teach systems; tier lists rank options; players pages prevent unforced errors. If your friend “cannot parry,” confirm they are not on a remapped keyboard. If your five-stack keeps wiping, confirm you agreed on Affixes.
Quick start checklist
- Verify defaults on Controls.
- Agree party rules on Party & Co-op.
- Lock Sin/Race with Sin Advisor and Race Advisor.
- Warm up telegraphs via Combat & Parry.
- Spend Fragments after sessions on the Soul Tree.
Alpha framing
Absolvement by Amorian Skies is early access, not a finished full launch. Bindings and party UI can shift—recheck after Alpha Patch Notes. There is still no code redemption for party gifts (Codes Hub).
Link out to progress
New accounts should still read Getting Started. Farmers jump to Dungeon Farming. Build theory lives on Builds and the Tier List Hub. Optional risky tooling is isolated on the Scripts Hub with ToS warnings.
Treat this hub as pre-flight. Two minutes here saves three lives later.
Session prep script (use every night)
- Confirm binds on Controls.
- If grouped, paste Affix + loot + extract rules from Party & Co-op.
- Recheck Sin/Race with advisors under Tools.
- Name tonight’s goal: farm, boss, Masses, or Tree income.
- After the session, spend Fragments before logging off (Soul Tree).
Skipping prep is how “one quick run” becomes three wiped slots and a tilted Discord call. Absolvement’s alpha already changes enough—do not also change your keybinds mid-boss without telling the party.
Common failure stories
Story 1: A five-stack ready-checks without bind callouts. Two controller players hear “press F” and die. Fix: say “parry now,” not key names—see Controls.
Story 2: One friend secretly enables hard Affixes because “rewards.” The party wipes, then argues. Fix: Affix lock in chat before the globe (Party & Co-op).
Story 3: Everyone skips advisors and stacks Harmonite experiments with Pseudoprophecy. Fix: Tools Hub before create.
Players pages exist to make those stories boringly preventable. Read them once per patch week and whenever you invite someone new from the Links Hub.
Controls snapshot for every player
Default combat literacy still starts with four keys: Parry F, Roll Q, Consumables V, and Map M. If your party cannot recite those, open Controls before the next ready-up. Rebinds are fine; silent rebinds that nobody announced are how co-op wipes start. Controller players should confirm equivalent face-button mappings in the same session they join a five-stack.
Co-op economy and Affix honesty
Absolvement scales dungeon pressure with party size. A full party of five can clear rooms faster and also die faster if Affixes are greed-stacked without a caller. Align Sin harshness, Affix load, and extract authority on Party & Co-op. Theft-friendly Sins remain the social default for learning groups; Pseudoprophecy belongs in challenge lobbies only.
Progress systems players forget mid-session
Soul Fragments from wipes feed the Soul Tree. Codes still do not exist to bail out a bad night (Codes Hub). Scripts exist on the Scripts Hub with ToS and ban-risk warnings—they are not a players-hub progression path. Race and Sin mistakes should be filtered through the Race Advisor and Sin Advisor before you burn another free slot.
Session checklist before you queue
- Bindings verified on Controls.
- Party rules agreed if not solo.
- Affixes matched to the weakest Tree investment in the lobby.
- One farm objective chosen from Dungeon Farming.
- Patch drift checked on Alpha Patch Notes after big updates.
- Discord/Trello links bookmarked from the Links Hub when something feels undocumented.
Players pages are short on purpose: they prevent unforced errors. Use them as pre-flight, then return to the Guides Hub for depth.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Absolvement questions.
What are the default combat keys?
Parry F, Roll Q, Consumables V, Map M. Full notes are on the Controls page.
How many players can party together?
Online co-op supports parties of up to five.
Do I need a party to progress?
No. Solo works. Parties help when rules are aligned; they hurt when Affixes and goals conflict.
Where should brand-new players go next?
Controls, then Getting Started, then Combat & Parry.
